Meet Tahki Dakota

Tahki is five-four, razor-slim, brown-skinned, with dark hair, glasses, dimples, and a face so plain it disappears in a crowd. Acne, awkward posture, no physical presence to speak of. Without technology, she’s almost helpless.

With it, she’s terrifying.

Tahki hacks for fun. Not for money. Not for power. Just because the problem exists. She can write software so advanced it shouldn’t be possible, and no one knows where she learned how. She never explains it. She just shrugs and fixes things.

She comes from the aborigine Battle Claws tribe and is the only known bloodline that’s half Battle Claw, half Shadow Beast. What that means biologically is unclear. What it means mentally is obvious. Her mind never stops.

Tahki is young, naïve, deeply introverted, and far more dangerous than she looks. She prefers solitude, lives in constant internal analysis, and drifts through endless thought experiments. Human behavior fascinates and confounds her in equal measure.

Her humor is dry. Her sarcasm lands late but cuts deep. She’s blunt to the point of discomfort and honest to the edge of cruelty. Social status means nothing to her. Appearances mean less. She sees straight through people and recognizes potential others miss.

When she does open up, she becomes animated, inventive, and unexpectedly funny. She’s eager to help, breaking chaos into logic, turning disasters into clean lists of pros and cons.

Tahki doesn’t dominate rooms.
She rewrites them.

Her mind is the weapon.
Understanding is the obsession.
